Bruks Siwertell Group increases growth and profitability through digital transformation
Bruks Siwertell Group is a market-leading supplier of dry bulk handling and wood processing systems. With thousands of installations worldwide, their machines handle raw materials from forests, fields, quarries and mines, maintaining critical supply lines for manufacturers, mills, power plants and ports.
Their strategy is to globally streamline and increase growth in all their business areas. The growth will be driven by increased innovation by colleagues, products, and processes.
For several years, we have worked gradually to increase digitalisation within Bruks Siwertell Group, as the world around us changes. The digital transformation is largely about automation, and we believe that the increased efficiency and availability will increase our customers' but also our own profitability. At the same time, it will bring us closer to our strategic goal of being at the forefront and pursuing sustainable business in our industry. We chose Cybercom because of their proven good results from similar digital transformations that they have done for other companies, which gave great credibility.
Peter Jonsson, CEO at Bruks Siwertell Group
Together with Cybercom, Bruks Siwertell Group embarked on a journey to introduce a digital way of thinking in its business. An analysis was carried out to identify the conditions for delivering on the strategically set goals within sustainability, growth and efficiency.
During the analysis phase, Cybercom guided the management team throughout the digitalisation journey, from creating an understanding of the current situation and agreement on the roadmap, to prioritizing and creating the right conditions for implementing the digital transformation.
The result was a strategic action plan for digitisation of the group in the coming years, which the entire organisation is behind. Cybercom has a strategically important role in the future for planning, quality assuring and implementing the strategy for Bruks Siwertell Group’s five business areas.
After Cybercom first developed our digitisation strategy, we decided to team up with them again to carry out a feasibility study on our customer journey. The goal of the study is to get full control of which areas we need to digitise in the future, from the point that companies look for a suitable supplier, to an installation being in place and we take care of service and spare parts for their machines.
