Configuration Manager

We are looking for Configuration Manager who's tasks will be: 

  • Implementation of software module allowing communication between phone and car using bluetooth technology; 
  • Configuration Management, Problem Resolution Management and Change Request Management. 

 Your Responsibilities 

  • Develop a CM plan, covering Configuration Management, Problem Resolution Management and Change Request Management ; 
  • Develop a CI-List ;
  • Establish systems for Configuration Management, Problem Resolution Management and Change Request Management with needed configuration and internal structure ;
  • Assure team access to systems;  
  • Provide training on policies and practices defined in the CM-plan to project team;  
  • Establish baselines in the CM system according to the CM plan ;
  • Create and merge branches according to the CM plan  
  • Perform and document reviews of release baselines, ensure that policies on maintaining change control and  work product history are maintained and that  baselines are complete and with  correct status of work products, i.e. updated, reviewed and approved ;
  • Ensure that policies for backup and archiving are established and working 

Key requirements/Qualifications: 

  • 2-3 years of experience in a similar role; 
  • Knowledge of git, Jira, GitLab/BitBucket, Confluence, Jenkins;
  • Experience in embedded, automotive systems;
  • Fluent in English
